Rmj tactical vs swamprat

it is nice to hear good feedback of RMJ, but i think "unappealing" is a Subjective word, KDSH is really a good one , very functional and especially have a nice edge on it. cool.

I'm breaking my self imposed "don't read or post on bladeforums rule" to weigh in as a friend mentioned it. Buy good design from a quality business with a good reputation and run with it. I think the Swamp Rat is a great hawk from a solid company. You will not be disappointed. I of course like the RMJ hawks. For me personally once you reach a certain level of craftsmanship and design it then becomes a matter of personal taste, mission specific features and budget. I have tested a lot of hawks - I have no problem with any of the better high end hawks. Just like guns and nylon you really need to test drive them and find out what works best for you. My opinion humbly offered.

Since this thread started, I have started out with one of storm crows hawks, and have also bought a jenny wren, berserker, a shrike s13, and a crkt kangee. All of these are great quality tools. Rmj has unparalleled quality. As does storm crow.

One of the most enjoyable threads to read. Thank you for all the information.
