Road to 1000 giveaway

Just wanted to say congrats on the 1K benchmark here and I always enjoy your fine contributions..

.. Please don't include me in your generous contest though as I already own two of these and would prefer other folks who aren't so lucky have a shot at this great working slippy.

That looks nice, I'd like to enter :)

Congrats on the nearly 1000 and let's go for a 1000 more. You should get there October next year :D

Thanks for the chance Texasflyfisher! Thanks also for your many informative additions to our conversations here.

Congratulations on the posts and thanks for the giveaway!

Ever since I started hanging around the traditional forum, I've been seeing pics of those Cozy Glen canoes, and I'm filled with envy every time. That has to be one of the prettiest production knives around. They have been on my wish list for a while now. And with my oldest child starting college in the fall, this may be the only one I can afford for a few years!

I don't have any canoes so far, although I think it's a great pattern. Picking a favorite pattern is tough, it changes quite often. But for today, I'll go with the whittler.

I also enjoy reading your posts Texasflyfisher.....thanks for the chance, that pattern is not one I've got a whole lot of experience with........yet.

Thanks for the chance to try a canoe - haven't ever had the privilege of owning one. Since we're both in Austin, no need to pack or mail:D.

Love the Canoe and missed out on the Cozy Glen (despite a desperate search). Thanks ever so much for the opportunity.

When I turned 40 years old I sent for my first american knife. I thought about a canoe, exaktly one of those but eventioly went for a queen stockman with D2 blades. I still hesitate if I did the right choice. thank you for this opportunity, it is exiting. I always read your posts as I think them to be bouth wise and nice. Waiting for the next thousend to come.

Count me in please!
I've never owned a canoe pattern knife, but I've handled a few and I like the pattern.

I would like in as well. I don't have any canoes and my favorite pattern hands down is a Texas stockman. Thanks for the chance!

Chuck
