I greatly appreciate that bud, im running out of bills to cut up testing edges. I find junk mail and bills in general make the best test medium. I dont even bother reading the words anymore. I see something that looks like a bill and i slice it up. Quick.![]()
I confess that I haven't looked into the Urban Survival Contest Thread... but if it hasn't been brung up yet.... someone needs to do a tutorial on storing and pressing junk-mail into fireplace logs  That's good for the environment; keep that crap outta the landfills. Also, 60 years ago in the sieges of Leningrad and Stalingrad, those cats would have been damn happy to have a pile of heating/cooking material like that.
If y'all wanna cut down on junk mail and have some fun, try this: open it. Then circle your name and write "Remove me from your mailing list!" and put that and all the shtuff that came with it (including the envelope it was mailed in) into the postage paid envelope. Add some coupons or other junk mail that didn't come with a return envelope. Stuff that thing, then send it back. They won't be sending you any more stuff if they have to pay a $1 for return postage. I have done this and now I hardly get anything with a postage paid envelope. 'Cept maybe the March of Dimes, which I just don't have the heart to do that to....especially when they send me a shiny new dime.
FedEx just dropped a long box at my door from New Jersey.![]()
Long boxes from Jersey? I've seen one or two, but I wouldn't have opened them.....who knows what the hell is in there? If you see flies buzzing around it, just put the torch to it and run.
