Rodent Solution pics!!!

Glad to hear they thinned this one down. Thinner edges seem to be somewhat of trend with Bussekin these days and it makes me very happy. I love my ESEE-3 and thought that the edge was nicely thin from the factory, so I might not have to do too much work to the Solution which is good to hear. I realize that at 3/16" the Solution is a different animal than the ESEE-3 I was just hoping that the edges might not be TOO much different in terms of thickness.

Interesting mod on the 3 by the way. What prompted that? Just lightening it up a bit?
 
My concern is it's ability to slice being 3/16 thick. Has anyone done any slicing and if so, what did you think? I have a RMD and a HRLM, so I am trying to justify a smaller knife at that thickness. The HRLM slices good, the RMD slices much better now, that I have put more time on the edge. I don't have a system and all sharpening is freehand. I do like the looks of the Solution, just can't seem to make up my mind however, the price is very reasonable and hate to pass on it and regret it later.:confused:

How long did it take for you guys to recieve your order confirmation number? I am not worried about it but it has been three days.

Yeah, I just wanted it to be as light as possible because I keep it in my backpack. It actually made a pretty good difference in the overall weight and balance without sacrificing much strength (you wouldn't believe what it's been through; batonning is no problem at all).
