Don't mind at all. Now I can say "I owned that knife once" and then I'll look back with regret. Oh well. I'll send you a nicer pic of the knife so you can drool over it while you wait. :D
 
If you don't mind, send me that picture as well. I'd love to have a nicer pic, since that's probably as close to that awesome bowie, as I'm likely ever to get.

I did own this fine stag bowie from Rodrigo. It was flawless. I showed it to a number of Master Smiths at Blade (where I bought it) and they were uniformly impressed.

Nordic Knives has an S-guard bowie by Rodrigo that I've been drooling over for months. You should check it out if you haven't seen it.
 
I've been checking this one out as well (it's a very nice one), but in the end I decided to ask Rodrigo to make me one completely to my taste. In a couple of months it will be ready and as soon as it is I will share it with you'll.

This maker,Rodrigo Sfreddo,appears to be exploding in the knifemaking world,I can see why.
How is he to deal with?I'm asking because I'm contemplating contacting him about doing a commission for myself.

I'm dealing with him by e-mail, because a telephonecall is a bit difficult. So far all the contacts have been smooth. He is open for discussion but on the other hand he gives his professional opinion about what is possible and what not. I think that for the quality he is providing his prices can't be beat.:thumbup:

Besides that he is an overall great guy to communicate with. He has a sense of humor and a great plus for me is that he once visited The Netherlands so he even knows where it's located in the world.:D

So I can recommend him wholeheartedly.
