Ron Hood needs our help!

I have always had the highest respect for Ron, and will certainly support him with my prayers now.
 
If you are going to spend some holiday funds, you might want to consider the down loadable cookbook and there new magazine. I'd imagine the cookbook would be one of the most profitable items for them and if you are a fan, maybe an item you haven't gotten yet (already bought all their DVDs ;)

Rons DVD's are the best out there IMO. I have most of them, and have watched them over and over. Very entertaining, and fun to watch.
If you were on the fence about something like this, these are the items to purchase right now.
I have never met Ron and Karen, but I can tell you, they strike me as really fine people with a love of the outdoors.
From what I have read, they dont want hand outs, but buying their products is good to go.
I cant think of a better way to help our little community out...Gene

I don't know who you are but that is total bullshit. We won't ALLOW those sorts of outlandish theories. We defend our members against trojans and other attacks and anything about 9/11 ... well it just doesn't come up. I figure you must be one of the trolls who occasionally inflicts itself on us so we ban it. Here you are just a liar. We have a kind, gentle, educated and open group of people who will defend to the death anyone's ability to say something so long as it is not derogatory or pure crap. They are also knife collectors and marksmen who will defend the constitution,

OK... That guy pissed me off. I hate liars.

Gleason score is 9 on both sides. I cannot have surgery until the tumor is reduced by chemo and radiation. The docs are worried that trying to cut it out will release it to other areas. So far it has not spread to soft tissue or bone. It is related to Agent Orange. I remember being in the firebase and having aircraft fly over spraying the stuff to kill the weeds and brush around our fields of fire. It would coat our skin, our gear and sometimes get in our food. I'm a very lucky guy to have missed it for so long. Many of my friends have left us.

Jeff Randall really stepped up to the plate and I admire him and his accomplishments. We are going to do our best to make it on what we earn. I am going to kick this things ass and I hope to God I don't offend too many people doing it. Oddly they are starting with female hormones to reduce the size so I'm looking forward to learning how to color coordinate my outfits and pick the right shoes. More than that I will finally learn the secrets behind aerobic shopping! Don't get any ideas though... No matter how things swing... I won't.

Thanks for all the kind comments and I apologize for going apeshit on the dude with the BS. It offends me since we have spent a decade building a community.

PS: Agent Orange is a m*th*fer . We used to make it in my home town. All the guys that worked at the plant had all sort of problems.

Ron, I was a 9 too and maybe for the same reasons according to the doctor. I'm still here 4 1/2 years later so don't listen to the meds or other people that have had it too much. They can be a real downer. Hang in there.

It's great to hear that you are beating it. I have no intention of letting it take me out and it's the support that those who have been dealing with it, for those who are new to it, that makes it all tolerable. I appreciate your comments and when I have kicked this things ass I'll be hooking into the support network to help when I can.

Good luck to you Ron. My father is currently battling Leukemia due to agent orange exposure over there. I wish you good health and strength for your fight, and I thank you for your service over there.
 
Good luck Ron! My dad is battling esoghageal cancer right now. He was over there too and remembers the orange. No way to know if it's part of the problem, as he's smoked for 50 years too.

I just finished watching Survival Basics 1 and 2 and enjoyed every minute of it.

Highly recommended!
 
I got volume 14 for Christmas, and like the other's it's excellent.

I have given some of the dvd's away and all say they are excellent.

Keep up the good work Ron.
 
Prayers go out to you Ron, that growth is done for. I think you could probably will it aware with your determination.
