Rough Rider & Related Slipjoints

If I put a thumb stud on my Buck 110, does that make it not a traditional? I would qualify this pattern as a modified traditional pattern. Still a traditional form, just with modern features. It's not a slip joint, but there are traditional knives that aren't slip joints.
For the purposes of this forum, a thumb stud disqualifies it as a traditional.

Not only is there a flipper on it, but the clip point is also spring assisted. The spey is a normal slipjoint I think. It looks traditional but has a couple very modern features.

🤔 Where does that leave the Case Trapperlock or Mid-lock Hunters? How long has Case had those? The mechanism supposedly is descended from their auto knives of days yonder. 🤷‍♂️

The Trapperlock qualifies as long as you don't show the pocket clip.
Backlocks and linerlocks are fine and dandy. The thumb studs and pocket clips are the big no-no's.
So the Trapperlock thumbstud/assisted open is OK, but the clip is a no go?

There are some weird rule bending knives, but I get the line needs to be drawn somewhere. I remember the screw (esp. torx) fastener assembled debate. 😬

Try this again. Thumbstud = no good in the traditional forum. Trapperlocks are out.

Titanium, carbon fiber, micarta etc handles and scales should be banned too !
Materials are trickier I think.
There have been metal knives forever, so Titanium is probably fine and dandy.
Delrin has been a thing for a long time, so synthetic materials are probably fine too.
Screw construction??? That's a harder one for me. I'm fine with screwed on covers, but draw the line at adjustable pivots screws.
