Alright, I ran a very painful poll a few days ago asking members to pick only 1 maker/manufacturer to own and forsake all others. This means you can only pick 1 for all your knives(fixed and folders). Unfortunately, the poll only allowed 10 options which caused quite a lot of fuss in the first poll.

For this second poll, I’m taking the 2 winners from the first poll (CRK and Spyderco) and adding 8 new manufacturers/makers that were mentioned in the first poll.

Yes, I’m sure there will be makers/manufacturers that will be left out.

Do your best and remember you can only choose ONE for fixed blades & folders and you cannot own any other for life. Non-participating members will be publicly scolded a mocked 🤣🤣🤣. Just trying to have some fun. Good luck. 3 day poll if the mods will allow.

I’m including a screenshot of the previous poll for reference.

I guess when this new law goes into effect. I will become a felon. I have been carrying at least two brands of knives every day for at least the last 50 years. I have no intention of changing that.

O.B.

Of the list, Spyderco, particularly the Kapara.

However, of i own and have owned, my RH Knives Tasca 2 takes the cake. Mine is in Odin's eye Damascus and green fat carbon. However, I'd love a more basic one in Elmax and purple cf for daily heavier use.

It would be impossible for me to pick just one. It's like asking who my favorite band/singer/guitarist is.

As much as it pains me to be practical, but I'm going with Cold Steel. My tastes and budget are generally higher, but if the ONLY knives I could owe and use forever has to be by a certain brand, I'm going with those tanks. Plenty of hard use folders and fixed blades.

Unless of course you mean the only brand I can buy for buying sake, and I think I would go with maybe Spyderco. I like CRK, but the variety isn't there for me. I have a lot of titanium frame locks as it is. Spyderco isn't really my jam, but they do have a LOT of knives to pick from.

I agree.

One of the few makers who cover all the bases from kitchen, pocket, hunting, work, combat and Bowie.

Although I’d have a hard time giving up my Stanley 199.
I would say that old Cold Steel and Spyderco also fit this description as well.

Lionsteel :p
because they have both folders and fixed blades in great materials and shapes in an affordable price range.
but these are not in the poll.
