Does anyone have one of these? I don't see much talk about this knife here. Was thinking of picking one up, grinding down the thumb ramp and putting micarta scales on it.

I've been searching also medic but they seem to be like finding hens teeth. I did just score a Bk10LE should be showing up shortly.

The 6" blade really appeals to me. This will replace my old ESEE 6 that I had for years past. I saw a member here that had the bk12, stripped, grinded down thumb ramp and it was sweet! The more videos I watch on it, the more I want it!

Nice looking knife. It would be even better looking after you worked some of your magic on it. I just found a supplier but I don't know the forum rules well enough to post.

It's an exclusive through KW only. I've already added it to my cart, but haven't purchased yet. I'll think on it first.

I like the BK-12 quite a bit too, I have just assumed that they aren't produced anymore and therefore the likelihood of me acquiring one is rather slim.

I am not sure if that blade shape is considered to be a drop point or a spear, but I find spear points to be rather useful and aside from the thumb ramp, I find the overall knife to be immensely attractive. Looking forward to seeing what your thoughts are 91bravo 91bravo if you end up snatching one up. I may just have to look harder for one myself.

It's a tossup between this one and a Bullnose in green micarta. Damn 1st world problems, I tell ya!

I can attest to the awesomeness of the Bullnose. I carry it frequently. Great little knife.

Kind of interesting. It is still being made it would appear, just not by Ka-Bar?

It was never made by Ka-Bar. It is made by the folks who do ESEE blades, Rowen. Heck of a good knife, and definitely one worth getting!
