No regrets.... except for my ignorance I suppose :p. The bead-blasted blade treatment (i.e, the "double cut" as you gentlemen were referring to, providing I understood you correctly) sounds potentially better... or an upscale option to the urban gray.

But I can see that either finish/treatment has its advantages. This urban gray 'paint finish' that's on the blade is THICK. The blade's metal is significantly protected by it. So.... no regrets. I am VERY pleased! :thumbup:

Very cool. Having a Busse is one thing, having a custom shop is a whole nutha level. +1 on the logo - wear it proud. Is that your first Busse?

MORIMOTOM -- My memory on that point, isn't the greatest (I'm sorry). What I do remember is: Garth conveyed that they had pretty-much every scale option that was, at that time, listed as an available option on the Busse Custom Knives website.

So I suppose that means, all their standard options for scales.

what... 540....... I need one custom shop ruck for each hand now....
one will be fully serrated Pictures coming in 6 months....
 
is that 540 AFTER the purchase of the blade, or all together?

where you did get the ruck in the first place? here... i would assume...

The Ruck alone would have been more than that if you were able to buy it from Busse so probably just for the work. Yep secondary market only for now.
 
Looks great,... but I gotta admit a bit of WTH going on...

He must have sent his in? I have sent a few emails to Garth (going back 6+ months?) about a custom shop AK and Ruck.. asking about either making new ones, or finding blanks laying around to work on,... I was told there was nothing, but that I was on a list for them if they come up... Sigh,... she looks great.

thx for the correction. i just remember them being less than an ak.

i got mine, though. :)
