Hi Everyone,

it has gone awfully silent around here. Since the BK40 (whatever you think about it) there was quite nothing new, not even Rumors or speculation.
If I'd be honest, the Beckers I already have are sufficient and last me a lifetime, as they don't draw attention to themselves and just work without any issues.

However, with all that unfortunate events going on around the world, I would love to see some info on any upcoming Becker knives...

Alone here in this sub forum, there are so many great ideas for new Beckers, there must be something in the works.

Is there anyone out there knowing anything that make his Becker Senses tingling?
I'd love to jump in on the speculations and see a new (or many more) Beckers come to life...

:)

We can't keep up with just the demand for even BK2's right now. The global supply chain crunch is very real and if you have plans on getting anything, whether it is a knife, refrigerator, toys for your kids, etc. you should do it sooner rather than later. The unfortunate part of this is that it is hard to produce new products when you have an overwhelming backlog of orders for existing items and lead times for raw materials have tripled and quadrupled.

Keep doing what you're doing!

Again thanks for your reply:)

My thread wasn't meant as a complaint against you, I know that KA-BAR is doing the best it can + 100 and I really appreciate it.

It is just that in those times, people (like me) would love something to look forward to... Especially as a Beckerhead, there is so much still we could look forward to, so a hint of what you have in mind would go a long way to help that craving... Nudge nudge:)

That new Jarosz looks amazing (yay, no choil) and as soon as it makes its way over the pond, I'll get one!

All the best to you guys and keep up the good work!

That demand is high enough to run into those issues is GREAT news - obviously the supply chain issues are a pain.

I consigned a spare BK-2 down at the local outing store a couple months back and it was snapped up in 2 days. They don't carry Ka-Bar or Beckers generally, and the owner was quite impressed.

It is certainly a double edged sword. It is great to see the demand and so many first time buyers that are being introduced to KA-BAR and BK&T; it beats the alternative of having a warehouse full of knives no one wants.

I've tried to pickup a BK16 from the big knife store for a couple of months or more without luck and figured covid and
the supply chain was causing problems.

Just a matter of time...

There are other knife companies that do well with fancied up production models that are called "customs."

Ethan's designs are field worthy; we all know that. His philosophy of design with respect to handles uses ergonomic attachment instead of friction or bite for handle control; this makes for more comfortable longer use sessions. Remember, Ethan has a background as a chef, and he brings that to the knife design table.

So ... why could there not be a "custom" line of Beckers, maybe called the "Uncle E Collection" with fancy handles (obviously of the same shape), nice leather sheaths and polished steel?

I ain't gonna lie, serious or not, I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE A BK&T ULU !!! It would be great to be able to easily fit 4 fingers between the handle and the blade.
