Rumors, Questions, New Beckers... anyone?

I think we all know the world is crying out for Becker’s in Magnacut steel.

Got me a stick of Magnacut sitting in the shop right now, I'll let you know if it's Becker-appropriate. ;)
I don't think they're making it in Ka-bar quantities yet.

AEB-L is probably a closer relative to 1095CV in behavior, if not chemistry.

AEB-L Forrest Butcher to go with my upcoming Spatula....
I'm still roughing out Both.... should be going off for heat-treating soon

There are other knife companies that do well with fancied up production models that are called "customs."

Ethan's designs are field worthy; we all know that. His philosophy of design with respect to handles uses ergonomic attachment instead of friction or bite for handle control; this makes for more comfortable longer use sessions. Remember, Ethan has a background as a chef, and he brings that to the knife design table.

So ... why could there not be a "custom" line of Beckers, maybe called the "Uncle E Collection" with fancy handles (obviously of the same shape), nice leather sheaths and polished steel?
This post has merit.

I heard Ethan is going to retire and hold one last contest here. The winner will get all the rights to BK&T.

I personally would love to see a line of Beckers with uncoated blades and handle material variety. And add a higher quality sheath and I would buy them up.
