I’d buy a longer, thicker BK-4! Megachax!Longer thicker BK4, longer BK2 and saber ground BK16!
For sure! For some reason the 15 just doesn’t do it for me. I was the most excited for that one when the tweeners came out. I love the look and feel of it, but there are a ton of knives in that size that I would grab first.I could get on board with a 5/15 offspring. Those are my most used Beckers and I think a blade somewhere between the two would see lots of use.
Agreed.... I was not as thrilled as Id hope I would of been. It took me awhile to get it too.For sure! For some reason the 15 just doesn’t do it for me. OH, HELL YES !!! I am all in on that !!!
Bk98An intermediately sized Becker chef/kitchen knife - a piece that hits that quality / value sweet spot that draws in the uninitiated....The sort of "very solid and functional" kitchen knife/knives that Becker-appreciating Uncles (or aunts) get for their nieces/nephews as a college graduation present.![]()
Oh, a BK11/14 sized Kephart would just hit the sweet spot in my pocket...
The Bk32 and 39 did come with clear coated blades.
I agree, i work at a window manufacturer. Lead times a year ago were 10 days. Today they are 70.We can't keep up with just the demand for even BK2's right now. The global supply chain crunch is very real and if you have plans on getting anything, whether it is a knife, refrigerator, toys for your kids, etc. you should do it sooner rather than later. The unfortunate part of this is that it is hard to produce new products when you have an overwhelming backlog of orders for existing items and lead times for raw materials have tripled and quadrupled.
