Well it requires a signature and when they try to deliver i'm at work. I cant even schedule a pickup because they can't find my info and the ups guy doesn't scan the invoice. I just got off the phone with ups and he says too bad I can't find your info.

Did you in fact confirm with Spyderco that they would or even could ship back with USPS? They might have scheduled drop offs/pick ups with UPS, which is why they use them. This really seems like an issue with UPS, not with Spyderco. It sounds like you saw this issue coming, which is why you really should have confirmed with them beforehand.
Well I finally got the package from ups. (ups blows btw) anyway the new edge on the caly 3.5 is great. very sharp and good bevel. I had also sent them an old endura with really messed up serrations the thing was toast. The endura isn't razor sharp but it's pretty good and they cleaned up the serrations really nicely.
