Russia sales

Go to your local USPS with the shipping info and some cash and they'll help you out, helps to package it in a plain box at home.

What about customs? On the Fed Ex website it says knifes can not be imported into country?

I just had one clear customs in Russia yesterday. I'm hopeful that it's new owner gets it soon. I used USPS Express International.

I recently shipped Lenny a knife to Moscow using USPS Express International and it arrived safely and quickly.

I did insure it and get signature confirmation. You fill out the customs form and place it in the clear envelope attached to the outside of the box or envelope.

The post office can and will help you.

The only caveat that I insist on is that the buyer accepts responsibility if it gets confiscated or lost. However, I have not had a problem recently.

I have had two knives come up missing in the past shipped international and that is why I insist that the buyer accepts responsibility. I will do everything that I can do to collect insurance on the buyer's behalf, but I will not accept any more losses and I do not know the customs rules in other countries.

The surprising thing is that Canada has given me the most problems in the past, but I have not lost any money shipping there.

thanks God its wrong )))
rather mild knife laws here:
anything folding manual/single edged/blade under 15 cm (5.9")/blade shorter than handle
IS legal

autos and balis single edged/under 9 cm (3.5")
ARE legal

its gets more complicated with fixed blades… but anything under 9 cm/single edged
IS legal. If longer… well it depends…on blade thickness/finger guard/blade shape

And double-edged knives under 5 cm
are legal too.
