Russian Folder "Milk" by Alex Vorobyov

Crappy vid quality, (old iPhone 4) but here is my MILK's action:

I can't wait to get it. I really wish CKF made more smaller knives, in the 2.5" to 3" range.

I hear that some smaller flippers are in the works. I need to have my son make a better video of it (his arrives tomorrow according to USPS tracking). What doesn't show up well in that clip is I was holding the knife at an angle (side to side) so as to slow the blade down - and it still got my thumb (nail thankfully) the second closing.

My son's MILK just arrived. #190, and it is honestly better than mine - the detent is slightly lighter (still impossible to break detent and fail to achieve full opening without physically blocking the blade's arc), and just a hint less blue in the anodizing, letting more underlying bronze show through. I am just blown away by this knife. Lord_Balkan, I'm excited to hear your impression.

I will absolutely post my thoughts and some pictures as soon as I get it. I am most excited about the blade shape... looks very useful.

The last shipping update was "We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece."

These sure do look like a quality product. How long have they been offering folders?

I have no idea how long they have been offering folders..

I ordered my MILK Jan 9th and it is the 20th and still haven't recieved it :/ The suspense is killing me.

This is a tiny knife workshop, the mention of which I found only in the report from the last knife show. In first heard about them from this thread. Usually about all the new producers becomes known very quickly. Talk about them in all the Russian knife forums. About Alexei almost nothing. But if you like, it's just wonderful.

As I have posted, my son and I are both more than pleased with ours. A half dozen of his friends want one for their own.

Ummm....they've been around for what, a couple of years now? There's a lot more out there about them than just this thread.

This look great, may have to consider it when my wallet cools down a bit. I love large folders.

The thing that made me interested is it is a large folder that is slicey. A lot of larger folders are way too overbuilt and thick, and this one looks like I can actually get some fine slicing done.

Too bad for me it has an over 4 inch blade :(
Had it pre-ordered months ago but once i found out i cancelled it.
