Dom007: Welcome to the Porch! It took me awhile to figure out what the porch was. Well your on the porch now. It's a friendly place for you to sit down & talk about knives or whatever the topic is. As if you was sitting at home on your front porch with family & friend talking about what's going on in life.
 
I meet all of the qualifications so I'd like to be in if that's ok.
This looks like a fun way to handle a bunch of different knives and to pass something on that isn't being used and like a good deala fun.
 
Sorry, I was away for opening day of dove season and then on a business trip. I'll hold the drawing on Monday and will ship the knives to the lucky winner on Tuesday. I sure hope that whoever wins keeps this going!
 
Man, a blue Barlow and a sodbuster? I'm in and thanks in advance. Hope you bagged out on birds. Our opener is tomorrow but we're being barreled by a tropical storm. Might have to head to the mountains :)

Wow, thanks!! :thumbup: I didn't even know I was playing, but it's not that unusual for me to say/write one thing and others to hear/read something totally different. :o:o But, as I told rye_a, I think this is a cool "community activity" and would love to see it continue as a long-running "rolling GAW" or "traveling swap meet", so I'll do my part to keep it going.

Thanks for the well-wishes, Jack & Shawn & Rachel! :) I'm not sure which knife I'll choose and what I'll swap if for; probably have to wait until I have the knives in hand to see which one(s) move me. ;) I just ordered 8 knives yesterday, some of which are either duplicates of ones I have or knives that I'm not especially attracted to but the price was very attractive; in either case, I bought them with the intent of giving them away one way or another, so this seems like a golden opportunity (Coincidence ... or Grand Design?? :rolleyes:) to pass on one or more of them.

Thanks again to mrknife and rye_a for their generosity and creativity in running a couple of rounds of this nifty idea. :cool::cool:
