S30v Leek Pictures Will Be Up Soon

Thomas,

First, I can't wait to get the new Leek. I have an OD one that I carry often.

Second, for every poster with a comment positive or negative, there are 100 others just sitting back and learning from your posts.

Third, some people have favorite brands, and unless that's you, you're going to get trased by them. For example "Gee, make your Leek bigger and change the lock and..." - well, then you'd have a Sebenza, not a Leek. Want a Sebenza, buy one.

I think Kershaw is the best valued production brand out there right now - you get more for your dollar, at lower entry prices, than just about anywhere else.

Finally, the internet offers a distance that often mitigates courtesy. Please continue to post Thomas, I've enjoyed hearing what you have to say.

Regards,

Jeremy

Thomas,

Just to add. I've enjoyed every one of your posts here. Kershaw kicks butt and you guys make great knives. I plan to buy more Kershaw's this year than I have bought of any other knife.

Cheers,
FoM

Okay, I want Thomas to stay as much as anybody else, but Spyderco has the best deals in the folding knife industry, hands down. Don't kid yourself.

Thom man... you can't just up and leave the ship, when you're pretty much the Captain of Kershaw, and you're it's main navigator.

I've only been here for a 100 or so posts, and a couple of weeks... but, I can tell you this. After getting my second knife (I know, only second) for my collection which is a Benchmade... the next TWO knives (yes, 50%) will be Kershaws... the Spec Bump and Leek, both in S30V and G-10.

The biggest reason not to go though is apart from all your valued fans and customers... is that in the dawn of the Kershaw forum, there cannot be an eclipse. You HAVE TO... I repeat, HAVE TO get a Kershaw forum up and running on here, and I will be one of the first, I guarantee you, to be in that line waiting.

In hopes that you will stay man...

Well, Spyderco aesthetics just have never appealed to me - I am not a huge fan of thubholes - I prefer studs. I prefer more traditional blade shapes, and less serration. I don't have any Spydies on my 'want list'. I guess it depends what you like!

Jeremy

You can want whatever the hell you like, but the best materials and best performance at the lowest cost does and has come from Spyderco, and it will probably always be that way.

Hi all,

I have to say that when I originally decided to post on BF's, it was to correct inaccurate details about Kershaw in a particular thread. Since my original posts, there has been threads on spec's and details about new Kershaw products, I answered a few of them as well. I understand this is a public forum, and you get to say what you want, however you want, but truthfully, I am a little taken back by the :barf: , and the "crappy material" negative commentary that seems to flow pretty easily.

We work very hard at Kershaw Knives to bring products for hopefully all to enjoy, and it becomes awkward for me to read "drive by" negativity and I am unstable in how to respond to it.

I trust you all will take this the right way, but after a few short weeks, I think I will be pulling way back from the forums, but know Kershaw will be positively represented, without my input.

Thanks to those with all the encouraging words.

I'm going to respectfully ask that you, or at least someone from Kershaw, stay around. Kershaw has something of a fan base here, but it would be bigger if we had a face to match to the company like Spyderco does with Sal here, and someone we could ask questions and make suggestions to.

Plus, even at $129, I love the Leek design enough to grab this one!

... in your opinion.

Why is this turning into an argument?

Who is it who says, All different, all good?

The reason so many companies thrive with so many models is that each of us has a different idea of what we like, generally a mix of knife styles from more than one company.

It's fine to buy what you like, but trashing other peoples' opinions is an unnecessarily negative attitude that does nothing but drive people away from the forums.

Don't leave the forums. Kershaw makes great products and this S30V Leek will only improve the lineup.
I work in a local gun shop where we sell Kershaw knives. We have one of those Leek "try it out" type displays on the counter and when we show that to people they are generally very impressed.

Can you make few pictures of it?

Thanks, Vassili.

Pictures of the shop? I don't want to post any pictures of the shop, but maybe I could get a picture of me holding something cool. I like playing with all the cool stuff you can put on light rails.

To Thomas! Glad you're stickin' with us big T!!!!
Now how can a guy get an S30V-g10 LEEK! I love my current Leek, but this new one is not to miss! Where and when???

waynorth, the S30V Leek will be out in March. You should be able to find it everywhere fine cutlery is sold.
