Well here are some images of the upcoming S60V Blur. There will be right around 400 pieces of these made. Should be ready to ship late next week. This will eat up the last of our S60V. We went back and forth on the anodizing, but think this turned out rather well. Hope you all like it.

MSRP $139.95.

very nice Thomas. The Blur is a knife the needs more color options like the leeks and this adds one more to it's number. looks good :D

From the pics, the anodizing looks great and I always liked the Trac-Tec inserts.
Do the rest of the Blurs have the angled thumbstud?
It looks like it would be much easier to open shaved down that way.

I don't know what to do now....I have like 20 EDC's. I need to sew on more pockets. :D

Boy, that looks great - I'm gonna have to get one of those..... I'm a sucker for OD green.

I'm pretty sure all Blurs have that thumbstud Mike, and yes, it's the easiest one to use (not that any AO thumbstuds are difficult per se). IIRC someone used the expression "fires like a rocket" for the Blur, and it comes to mind every time I open it. Ergonomically it just plain works better, and I think it would be great if all studs implemented this design (at the very least the AO's).
Thomas, thanks for another savings-depleting knife. Looking forward to delivery. "I'll take it"! :)

I thought the S60V is also known as 440V & was used on the older Boas (Before they went to S30V).

If that's true, it "should" be better than S30V, but from what I've read & heard, it isn't. But I'm sure a "steel guru" will come along & set us all straight on what's what.

Wow, that shade of green did come out great!
The blade finish is a winner as well, really looks good with the green.

Can't wait to get my hands on one.

Will it be a black clip?

Yeah, I don't really care that much about the steel, just was wondering. I am digging the OD green handle though...... i do wish that they'd make a black coated blade specialty blurs--It looks better than the stonewash imo. However, this green color does go well with it now that I look at it many times... hmmmm
Dream blur--
Tanto, serrated, black blade, OD green handle, old trac-tec "sandpaper" inserts.

That is fantastic looking! The OD anodizing looks great with the stonewashed blade!

I also prefer the original recessed sandpaper-style Trac-Tec over the softer bubbly overflowing new stuff, though...:)

My S30V Blur is a factory FrankenBlur...it came with old-style Trac-Tec on the clip side, and new-style on the logo side.

Hint: One of these would make a great give-away...:D

Thanks, Thomas, for the preview. :)

Best color yet. BTW, the S60V is still a good steel. It's time in the light was short because S90V is better. If It's tempered too high, it chips, too low and it bends (with thin edges). Kershaw will make it just right. I'll bet money on that.

I need one for my blur collection. 'Nother good job Thomas! Joe

Thomas that Green anodizing on that blur looks real nice! All you guy's at Kershaw do some real nice work!
I second the black blade, serrated idea. Have you guys thought about incorporating an index flipper into that knife Model ? (all the Blurs)
Or does Its design prohibit such an addition? A flpper on a Blur would be awesome!!
You could call it the "BLUR II"

We have heard this request in the past, but unfortunately it's not as easy as just adding a flipper. Production would need to start over, there would be re-tooling costs, just can't see it happening at this point. Would be a cool knife though.
