S7 Run! Work in Progress

Thanks guys! I'm working on sheaths for these this week and will have them finished up soon!

My bandsaw that I cut kydex with exploded (well kind of... I had 3 things break at once) so I was deciding how to replace it... tin snips! It didn't get used for metal as it is a cheap wood cutting one. I just got some and they are better and way safer than the bandsaw plus they cut the kydex cleaner. I'll just use my tile saw for g10. Way cheaper too! So, back on the sheath making! :D


Bill, Thanks! that carbon fiber was from Blacksite, they make CF for the government so it is really high spec pre-preg material and pretty much void free. If you catch it on sale it can be a good deal for CF too, they don't make it for scales so the supply varies but it is worth the wait for the quality.
 
These are really close! I'm expecting in a belt shipment today and should have them finished (sharpened and that's it!) and photographed very soon. :cool:

they are looking killer and after pics I will have the ones with kydex sheaths ready for shipment. :cool: They are sharp!

Two leather sheaths in progress! They are blotchy in the pic and have been dyed more since... stitched and more too. These are now almost finished up, my wife Sara just soaked them in neatsfoot oil and molded them. They are looking good!

I'll have pics of the finished up sheaths later when I get my photo area set back up. I'll also have the Antique Ivory knife in this thread available as the sheath is now ready, I just need to sharpen it.

Deep carry and very heavy duty!
