Got a chance to use my Manix XL S90V this morning. I knew it would come in handy some day...

This is my 3rd kid, 2nd boy. So you know, no biggie.

I plan on making the knife a graduation present.
 
Was this a home birth?

I hand delivered my son April 2nd of 2012, as in dr stood in the back of the room and observed incase anything went wrong she could step in but I literally did everything (except for the pushing of course), didn't think to use a knife tho, wish I would have.

We did this birth in a birth center with a midwife. Funny story though, when my daughter was born I did hand deliver her, but it was because my wife thought it would be a good idea to try to labor as much as possible at home, then go into the birth center when heavy contractions started. I ended up delivering her on the bathroom floor while being coached by the midwife over speakerphone. I definitely prefer having someone else do the "wet work".

I cut the cord under the midwife's supervision, and I cleared it with her a couple weeks before hand. She thought it was a cool idea.
