Obviously, that child is terrified of those vicious blades; so much so, that they have tree'd him.

To assuage that child's fears, send those blades to me for ... rehabilitation.

It's a good blade but honestly the full flat ground version is a superior design in my humble opinion.
I do feel the old coating in the smaller blades lends itself to cutting more efficiently, the bigger knives, that I would use more for batoning and chopping, I do prefer the new coating for durability and it smoothed out nicely after couple fires.

Just slapped some 710 scales on it and it's sitting in a Nix Kustoms sheath.
I'm gonna put a nasty sharp edge on it and shes ready to go!

The Saber grind is sexy and very useful but there is a place for the flat grind. Given my feeble but nonetheless valiant efforts to corner the market on discounted 15s, the saber grind 16 is becoming the scratch for an itch in my user quiver.

When I get my second or third saber ground one, then I'll start modifying it - or maybe send it to visit Dex. For now mine is just sit back and let me tell it how pretty it is.
