Sad day in bawannaville

Bawanna just posted in the main forum, not seeing him today made me a bit worried that he might be even more affected than the Lady of the house but he just wouldn't say it. He'll bounce back, I'm sure. I'd just be so proud if I were him. Can't imagine anything more satisfying than realizing your children grew into fine young men and ladies, and all your efforts bear fruit.

Oh, I'm alright. I'm concerned some of course. (Mostly for the Drill Sgts iffen they molest my boy) I'm gonna miss him as he's my go to kid for doing stuff that is hard for me to do. My older boy is still at home and will do it but usually has to have an explanation and get it on his schedule.
He's gonna miss him too for sure.
I've been kind of prepping myself for a bit and just figuring how to do stuff without asking no help. I can do just about anything, just have to figure out how to get it done ya know.

Somethings I'd like to do but they just ain't worth doing the brain work to figure out how to do it so they go undone. If they was important enough I reckon I'd figure a way.

Sounds like a great kid, I see why he'd be missed even more. I'm sure he'll be fine, eventually; hope he gets one of them mellow DSs.

I wish you good health; I'm relatively young and still get my share mishaps that incapacitate me in a way or another for a while and quite honestly it's one of the most frustrating things not being able to do what you just were able to yesterday. Last one was a nice incident that involved me falling on the stairs (thin overnight ice) and getting a "massage" on my back while sliding down, knocked the air out of me and it took a while to be able to breath. As I was able to get back on my feet, a dog thought it was play time and down I went again.

It took a few days of pain medication and rest to become useful around the house, and weeks to be 100% again. The idea that at one moment this could be something more or less permanent scares me but we'll all get there someday.

For a really good time, try that same stunt in a wheelchair. Now your talking life action.

I've been pretty lucky with few crashes and such.

My biggest and best was last year.

I went to open my garage/shop roll up door, have to push and then take a stick to push it up to stay.
I apparently was focused on stick placement and didn't realize that I'd rolled forward considerable and apparently pushed myself over backwards.

Wife found me sleeping outside the garage door on the ground with the door closed and no chair in sight?

She asked if I needed an ambulance and I asked what for but do me a favor and look around and try to find the dang chair.

I apparently went out and intinctively cleared the door before it guillotined me and the chair went back inside.

Kind of one of them detective novels trying to figure out what just happened.

No real harm, wife took it easy on me the rest of the day so pretty much a wash in my book.

That sounds well beyond nasty. Good thing she found you in one piece.

Wife saved me as well. Wouldn't try to pull this off just to get a day off, was my conclusion.

Oh Crap Bawanna! I hope your laughing! Whats the chances of that? Sorry Bawanna I know it was a dangerous thing and glad your OK but my gut hurts:D

Bwanna Bawanna, you gonna be alrightie in the mornin'. You just take two aspirin and see me in the morning. Thank you. That'll be two chickens and a guinea fowl.

Ahhh, now I get the Doctor joke...ahem Respect around here. Seen something like this before. I'm too young in HI years to know everything.

Um Bookie, he didn't mean that joke comment really.

Seriously Mr. Moon, change zip codes post haste.

The nose ornaments are looking positively devine today Dr. Bookie.

And I love what you've done with the office. Naughty Pine is just swell.

yeah I think this just reminds everyone why humans do stick together in groups-- because ill be damned if it is not nice to have some help when you need it, praise the most high for the families we all have.

He does. And a few other things too.

I try to walk softly and wear an armadillo shell on my head to ward off some but not nearly all of his spells and such.

Got the very brief phone call they said we would receive yesterday evening.

And I quote-

This is recruit bawanna jr, I have arrived. My next contact with you will be by mail.
I love you. Bye! ...........................................dial tone..........................................

I don't do phones, glad the wife hears good. If you missed it the first time there was no second chance.

Congratulations, what an achievement!

God bless and keep him safe
