Would love to try one of these out. I was hoping for more pics and write ups. I am interested in seeing how the edge retention is compared to infi.

I have heard that it takes a killer edge, and has good edge retention as well.

I'd have no problem having the last participant mail you the Rat instead of me...then after you've had a chance to see what it's all about, you can send it home. It'll be an extension to the passaround. Let me know if you're interested and I can add you to the list bud :).

Alright the Ratweiler is on its way to Snakedoc in the morning. Thanks for hosting this passaround Safetyman, I had a blast messing around with this beaut for a week! I'll post a review in the next couple days.

C'mon folks, lets see some photos and thoughts. The #1 reason and condition for the pass around!

I can't speak for you rw safetyman, but I love mine. I sold my old first generation and reversed it bad a few years later. I picked up a mint second generation and love it too. I will say there are small differences in the two. The 1st gen seemed to be a little more refined. Both are great performers! Super edge retention. I must say I don't like the handle hump as well as some because I have somewhat small hands. But I am not opposed to it entirely.
