Sage 2 CF or titanium

Ive been wanting to try out a sage 1 for a while now but just havent pulled the trigger. Im stuck between the sage 1 or the
Caly 3 carbon fiber. I prefer the liner lock of the sage but the Caly 3 being made in America is something that does play a factor
in my choice.
Caly 3 is made in Japan.

Hehe, oops... Been made in Japan since th Caly was Calypso. It's a mighty fine knife to be certain. As far as the Sage series is concerned, there is more to it than a simple knife:

It helps to support a great organization as well. No many other manufacturers do that, at least that I've heard about.

It also honors the many innovators of the knife community. Who else does that?

The Sage2 is simply one of the most ergonomically sound designs in Spyderco's line up. The comparison to another knife of similar materials in not exactly a fair one, but I can say that if this knife tears pieces of your finger off, it's time to toughen up the piggys a bit.

Yeah just putting it out there, most definitely the nicest knife i have ever owned. Cant say enough good things about it and cant find anything wrong with it. As for the spydie hole being a bit sharp its nothing that wont wear down with use (and its not bad enough to complain about). It came (the blade not spydie hole) sharp as a razor blade and I cannot get over how nice the Ti feels in the hand. RIL lock is awesome and solid so no complaint there.

Thanks for all the advice and opinions guys! while im sure the CF sage is great ( and i probably will buy one one of these days) I cant ask for anything more than what i got of the Sage 2. My first quality knife but definitely not my last.

If you really appreciate Ti, the Sage 2 is a home run and a must have. There is really nothing negative to say about it, and the fact that you can snag them off Amazon for under $140 from time to time, is just incredible for what you're getting.
