Sage 3 vs Paramilitary2

Hello, im in the market for a quality folder for EDC and have decided on these two spydercos. I have also been told benchmade mini griptilians are great edc blades. Really though, im open to any suggestions. I am looking to spend about $100-150

Thanks in advance

ZT0200 or ZT0350...great knives!

PM 2 is my favorite knife, period. It is just... truly phenomenal. So light, so wicked sharp, so useful. I would possibly only 'trade' it for the exact same knife maybe 15% smaller, for comfort of carry, minimalism being a school I like a lot too. get it in black, don't look back. No way not to be thrilled.

Good choice. I cannot wait for my green, cts-204p sprint to come out!
The only reason I would say get something different now is because you will eventually get a PM2 no matter what (I ended up getting into CRKs and customs before I got my first PM2 but I still got one, and it's the only modern folder I consider worthy of rotating with the 'zaan) and you can wait for the next sprint run and not have two of the same pattern.
Benchmades are nice, everything about benchmade is good but nothing is great or that special in my opinion. Spyderco sprint-runs of the PM2 (and all their sprints) are special and some of them great!
The Ritter griptilians are special, but I hate the grip' platform. The mini-grip is too small, impossible to flip without a lanyard, and the pocket clip interferes with ergonomics; the full-size grip has cheap-feeling hollow plastic scales, the weight and balance are off, the 710/AFCK is better in every way.

You are entitled to your opinion, but you state the bolded part like they are facts and I call B.S. I have both Ritter and standard MiniGrips, have EDC'd them for years, and they are very easy to flip, both open and closed. With the clip mounted for right-hand carry, I find that the clip actually adds to the ergos.

For the OP, the MiniGrip and the PM2 are both great knives, but very different. Try to handle them both before you buy and don't worry about the thumbstuds (or Spydie hole) on the MiniGrip because you won't use them once you get used to the knife - you just pull back on the lock and swing the blade open or closed - its very easy and very fast fast (its also fun). I'm sure you'll end up with both, but if it helps you decide, you should easily be able to get a MiniGrip for @ $60.
