What about the Paul W. Poehlmann Axial lock??
A Sage with silver twill G10, bolster and the Axial lock would be pretty cool.

Sal already said they won't do a Compression Lock version due to the fact they want to honors other peoples innovative locking mechs. Which really sucks because that would be one AWESOME knife! Hopefully he ends up changing his mind and we see a Sage 6 with a compression lock.![]()
I'm just thinking out loud here but I could see the Sage 5 maybe being like a tribute to Mick Strider or Duane D. ( I know these two aren't the most ethical guys in the world but they sure as heck produced some nifty folders ) and looking like a scaled down Strider folder of some sort in of course S30V and making use of a Frame lock.
How about a bolt action lock ?

I think the Sage series should be made in the US. I know they are good quality knives, but I think it subtracts from the value to have "Taiwan" stamped on the blades. I'd be willing to pay $50 more to have them made in Japan, or the US.
Actually the truth seems to be that you get more value out of the knives produced in Taiwan. The Gayle Bradley being a good example..
