Sage Knives

Thanks Spydegirl. I'm glad I have one in newer condition. As others have eluded to, I consider mine a poor man's Sebenza.
Sal, please don't get me wrong, I'm only referring to the price point. Not quality and overall satisfaction.
I suppose now y'all are going to tell me the Sage I has met the same fate?

I guess my geopolitical world view is such that I prefer the Golden, CO knives. I DO have some of the Seki City knives and they are very well made. I imagine the Tawain made knives are just as nice.

Not that I know of. The Sage 1 and Sage 5 are still widely available.

I share your preference. Many believe that generally the Taichung factory does the best work. The Taichung knives I have are excellent and so are my Golden, CO knives.

Hi Unce Timbo,

Seems like most of your question have been answered. Capacity, cost, skill. We disco models when sales are too slow to justify inventory. It also opens up space for new models. We dp make some exception for knives specifically designed for Law enforcement or military. We keep them around just because.

One new run of the Sage 4 please. I’ll buy 2 to contribute to the volume.

I have the Advocate, Dice and Sage for the money they rival some really nice knives out there. Just my opinion.
