Sage or Sage 2?

I am with Barman....I could not decide between what I liked with the 1 and the 2, so I went and made a hybrid Sage 1.5

It has become my favorite!

Excellent choice.
The carbon scale presents well against the ti and adds some grip. So it looks good and handles better (in my case anyway). Win Win.

I received my Sage 2, and after spending a little time with each, I don't know if I could choose between the two. Luckily, I don't have to. :)

I'd say just pick the one that you think looks better, and you'll be happy with it.

The Sage 2 is in my EDC rotation but now I have an itch for the Sage 1.

It's good to hear you are happy with your choice. If you'd gone the other way, this sentence would be reversed. There's no way around it.

You're right. I ended up breaking down and buying the Sage 1, which I do like better than the 2. The only thing that I didn't like about the Sage 2 was how slippery the Ti got in sweaty hands.

They say the Sage 2 is the poor man's CRK. Well, I own a Sebenza and while it is fantastic, it has never pushed my Sage 1 out of my carry rotation.

The blades are of course identical so really it is just a matter of what you like the best but to me, the carbon fiber just looks incredible.

Sage 1 or Techno Imho. Slightly prefer the Sage 1 to the Sage 2 and prefer the Techno and C22 over both of them :D

Sage 2. Accept nothing less.

I am a huge fan of the leaf style blade and low-profile clip. It is also very smooth to open and the choyl (spelling?) let's you choke up on it for detail work.

One of my favorite spyderco knives hands down.

It's hard to beat the full Ti sage 2. Talk about durability. But my favorite is still the Sage 3. Love that bolt lock
