SAK Farmer vs. SAK Electrican Plus

I've only seen the nail file, but wish they had one like on Leatherman tools.

There is a file on the Champion,SwissChamp and on the Ranger as well.

I like the little blade on the electrician, but that can opener works so well.
I want both.

I dont really need the can opener, since I carry a p38 anyway.
So I'd go with a electrician plus, or rather a Pioneer Harvester.

I think the hasp on the Farmer outweighs the blade vs. opener debate. If a survival knife hasn't got a hasp you can't use a lanyard.

I'd go with a Farmer, if I didnt have my Scibeer Woodsman (Awl, Mainblade, woodsaw).

Not sure why, but I would.... have both.

Between those two choices, I'd go with the Farmer although I don't have one.

At the moment my only SAKs are a Huntsman and an alox Wenger SI (same as the soldier, I think; blade, awl, can opener, bottle opener).

The VIc Outrider is a good woods SAK too.

I live in New Orleans. I think I might catch 10 kinds of hepatitis doing that on the streets here. LOL

Very simple and practical urban survival method, though.

I would go with the farmer. I use the can opener more than I do the second blade.
