The most used tool for me is the phillips screwdriver. Seems like that a phillips screwdriver I am always reaching for. Now the Rambler has a nice phillips but the Tinker with the phillips that opens in the middle of the handle is awkward to use . I wish that Victorinox would introduce a new phillps into the basic line (like the Pioneer). Now that would be cool.. Or replace the awl with the phillips!!

I have a Rambler on my key ring (blade, file, bottle opener, scissors). I have always found the scissors on that knife to be adequate for anything I needed to do. So I have not experimented with scissors-equipped larger SAK knives. I might have to try one.

For years, my default SAK was a Tinker (partly because they're really affordable). But I decided to try out a Super Tinker late last year. I found that not only is the scissors layer fairly unobtrusive, but that the slight increase in handle thickness fills my hand better and gives me a more secure grip on the knife than a two-layer SAK allows (of course, this ergonomic improvement would apply to any three-layer SAK regardless of the tools in the third layer).

Not sure I need scissors, I do like a good Phillips, but don’t take my awl!

I spent a couple months cycling in England and France and used every tool in my SAK climber. Especially the corkscrew! I used the scissors to cut my nails and trim hair. Neither of which I would want to do with the blade. SAKs are especially great for traveling when you might need unusual tools like a can opener.

Many years ago I gave the whole family Super Tinkerers. The scissor is the most used tool on mine. Now if they just replace that weird hook with a cork screw it would be perfect. ;)

Got classic alox in my keys so I always have scissors no matter what. In that sense I don’t need them.. or I suppose I do? 😁
Ditto. Always have scissors on me with the alox classic sd but that doesn’t stop me from carrying 91s/94s with scissors pretty regularly 😄 The action on Vic’s full-size scissors is nice.
