I like the 'spyder' hole OHT much better than the oval one. There's not too much difference between it and the original. The blade's still serrated, but can be ground out (like on the model above). The 'point' is rounder. The liner lock is a little larger too. One or two other, minor things.

Here is my trusty old Leatherman Supertool. I had forgotten that I had broke the saw as well as the file and two of the screwdriver bits (I reprofiled the bits on the grinder).

I bought the Leatherman Core to replace the Supertool late last year, the very first wire I cut with it rolled the cutting edge and I had to file it off to get it to close again

Is it just me or is the quality of the Leatherman a bit lower these days compared to 10+ years ago? I was surprised to see plastic spacers.

All true. I hated the serrations and round point. I spent little less than a hour with a DMT diamond stone sharpening both out. Now I love it!!!
