SAK's - stuck in the past?

Are you suggesting a tactical SAK w/ thumbstud, high grade steel, bigger blade? I think there would be a market for it. It could be the start of a whole new line of SAKs.

IMO, a pocket clip on the SAK Soldier would be awesome! Case did it, why not Victorinox or Wegner? To me, ease of carry is more important than one handed opening. Some of the SAK's are pretty heavy and clip carry could definately be an advantage. And as far as the metal ring attachments are concerned, I just attach a Reeve style lanyard so that I have the extra paracord with me.

Another factor is that SAKs, are very sheeple friendly and legal in most countries.

And then, there are customers like us forum members, where knives/pocket tools are not a zero-sum game...;) As long as I have four pockets, I don't see any reason to have to choose one over the other. If a Tinker is good, and a Juice S2 is good, then both carried together must be dang near perfect...:)

I couldn't be more in agreement. My EDC consists of Tinker, CS Land and Sea Rescue, and Schrade Middleman. I can't hack my way through a jungle, but there are very few things that couldn't be handled with this trio.
