I have only had it a couple of days but . . . as was posted recently the Persig said : we know quality when we experience it even though might not be able to put it into words.

I'll try though :
Light, strong, long, disappears in my pocket, great clip (didn't have to fart with it to make it work for me), lots of ways to open and close, works with gloves, great to look at, great to use, versatile, solid design ! 4mm thick blade that cuts up apples !?!?! Not many of mine can . . . the Military does well at the apples. Great blade shape !

My first Mili.
Dudes (and Ladies) . . . if you don't have one don't wait as long as I did. GET ONE.
Mine's Natural G10 with M4 = perfect combo for me.

Thanks again Sal

Who is Sal and what did he do for our Military?

Is there a sarcastic font or a certain color people use on this subforum?

OP,

Thanks for pointing out that Sal with Spyderco represents Zen and The Art of Knife (Making &) Maintenance.
It is indeed a masterpiece by master (in both Sal and Pirsig case).

Now see I was (am) all happy and satisfied with mine and you go and show me the fluted Ti ones. i was pretty sure that was going to be my first one.

Is that really an anodized blue one or a trick of the light ? OK I see it really is a blue one . . .
If yes was it a run or a custom ano. ?

Now I want a Ti . . .to.

PS: I was hoping some one could post a link to a thread or artical telling the whole Mili. story with a progression of the changes over time etc.
All I know is the obvious that Sal was asked what knife he would chose for a family member being deployed.
