Sal, THANK YOU for the Military !

I don't think my wallet is all that grateful to Sal...

He is the Santa of Steel, if you behave you'd be getting cool sprint runs...:)

Provided you did not pay for those knives as collectables (higher than market value when released), I would think your pocketbook would see each and every one of those Military knives a good investments. Many being of greater value than purchase price, all having much greater user value than purchase price.

5-by-5,

Fluted s90v, nice combo.
I personally like a Fluted Cru-Wear.
I think we both agree, on the Fluted Ti ;-)

5-by-5,

Yes, I have seen your earlier pictures (we agree to much degree).

I look forward to the day we have a 10v option for our project Frankenstiens

Yeah! Thanks Sal for the Military, just got my first and love it!
I love the Millie, I have several of them and at one time had like 7 I think. I live in Colorado the State in which they are made and I can't carry one legal, concealed in my pocket because of the blade length. I have the orange G10 version in my pocket right now because I am in my house. I would collect all Military models and it would be my EDC in some version if this State allowed a person to carry a 4 inch bladed knife concealed.

The Military reigns supreme.

The new KW CF/Ti/S90V is such a sweet knife. I'm thrilled with mine.

And the KW 204P/ dark green G10 has cast a spell on me. I just adore it in every way. That strong "thwack" of the liner lock slamming into place is music to my ears.

Technically the actual edge is not 4 inches. You could probably carry it with out an issue

The kw exclusive 204p and s90v are both on my to buy list. Just need to sell some from my collection first.

Dang. Well that sucks
It does suck, because the Military is my favorite pocket knife of all time, I have stated several times if there could only be one pocket knife it would be the Military in some edition.

If it was me, Ide carry it anyway...

That is in no way, shape or form legal advice!

Luckily Maryland has very vague knife laws and no actual blade length requirements. The laws deal more with the intent of the user

Here in Cali, despite the very strict and getting even stricter gun laws (just being informative so please do not expound to make this a political debate if commenting) our knife laws in general are surprisingly quite liberal (small L) for a super blue State! AFAIK and please feel free to correct me, there is no blade size restriction unless the city, principality or the municipality where one resides here in CA has it's own ordinances which supersede State Laws. That said, those laws are for open carry and not concealed carry (daggers, balisongs, ice-picks and as such being illegal no matter what). If a Peace Officer happens to catch his eyes on your pocket clip and it's a knife, specially a larger one such as the Millie, he can and most likely will confiscate it and you will get a ticket which may not be a misdemeanor if you get mouthy and don't know your sh*t.

My larger and more expensive folding blades are only for tasks inside the house, carry inside the car (by extension of being my property) and when I'm on hikes on the back trails. Even then, I'm very careful about not constantly flipping and playing with it in the open just in case someone calls the sheriff dept and reports a knife wielding "a-hole" which will most likely result in a squad car waiting for me at the other end of the trails!

Surfingringo ! !
There you are. I have been wondering if you left BladeForums. Good to see you.

Here is a quote from one of the links I just read. If I had a quote at the bottom of my window thing here (what's it called) I might be tempted to run this one. Translation prob but funny.

We have seen so many so called “tactical” craps.

Hahahaha . . . that's awesome

Chris “Anagarika”,

Thanks for the Nemo Knives Military review / history good stuff.

brj,

Thank you for sweet chart and info !
That helps this newb (me) get up to speed.

Guys, new folding knife makers, old established folding knife makers . . .
THIS is the way you make a pocket clip ! ! !
Stock Military clip / see photo.

(I don’t actually need deep carry just needs to clip to most of my stuff where I clip folders).

well I was wearing my winter pants and no socks this morning because I was lazy and it was laundry day. Went to clip the knife in my back pocket which has the largish YKK zipper. I thought “what are you doing ? ? ? this NEVER works until you over haul the clip and you haven’t touched this clip in that way. Aaaaain’t gonna happen.”

By the end of that thought I was like where did the knife go ? ? ?

Must have fallen into my pocket.

What’s this ? ? ?

it is just clipped on my back pocket. No fuss. NAAAHHHHHH . . . dude . . . how did that happen ?

Later I used the knife and did it again. Effortless like. No forcing, no hoping . . . no kidding.
