Don't forget Fridays. No Friday posting for three months either Mat!!!!![]()
That's a deal breaker for me. I'll take tarred and feathered fate instead![]()
The unofficial proxy rules basically come down to this: each person only gets one shot during a sale. What are the unofficial proxy rules? I was just going to jump in for the last person on the proxy request thread who didn't get a confirmed proxy.
This is directed at me. It's OK and apologies for upsetting some of you. The gentle person whom I had in mind had no idea. Whether you believe it or not, I know the truth.
In any case, I wish no drama on Nathan's / Jo's business. I am officially retiring from proxying: surprise - unsurprise and all those in between![]()

They can take that shot themselves.
They can request a proxy. They can engage in only one proxy agreement per sale - only have one proxy. If you get a proxy you cannot also make an attempt in the same sale.
So you are either attempting for yourself or you are the lone proxy for somebody else. If you were attempting for yourself and the knife you wanted is not available then you pass your spot down. If you were doing a speed test and get a viable position but don’t want a knife you pass the spot down.
Each person only gets one shot per sale.
It really wasn’t.
I think I am gonna use the term “********” to refer to this behavior.
Even with the pre-order, I am very grateful you helped me land a dek in aeblCasinostocks
I doubt the pre-order will have that option
Also that very day, I got engaged
It was a lovely engagement gift from you![]()

Just saw all this, and some of the blame should fall on me as well. I had seen that Matt was trying to land one for wood in previous weeks and thought I would be a hero and swoop in for the assist. Should have communicated better and my apologies if any of this seemed greasy.I have Darren's phone number because he gave it to me (huge mistake) when I was looking at several different guns. He and I text at times shooting the breeze about guns and things so I alerted him that I had inadvertently caused some proxy drama miring his good name in that doodoo too!
Wood5045 has a great sense of humor since he took it all in his stride by telling me, "it takes a special kinda loser to end up with two [sic: unsolicited] losing proxies"
Gotta luv that guy![]()
Haha yep, just which one!?Congrats!Gonna cut the cake with a CPK?
Hahaha! I feel I am almost to old at 29! Being a Christian, the typical age in my community is early 20s!Just to be clear: you didn't get engaged to me
You are very welcome kiddo and enjoy. Major grats on your engagement too but are you even old enough?!
