Dude, it's THICK. We're not known for thick knives. It was going to be Amazon bait to get new folks interested in the brand by making something like a Busse that can cut through a chain. In fact, I think I may actually cut through a chain with it. It's THIIIIICK. Most people here don't want that.

I don't expect a lot of interest in that pattern. It's .250" thick, it's not very practical for most users. We will make some more regular Field Knives again next year. That's a very versatile knife.

Agreed. This is the best subforum on the site. Evil genius, fantastic product, cultists followers, what's not to like. But if Nathan starts selling koolaid watch out:)

On a serious note, glad things didn't go to far south for you this week. Keep your head on a swivel. I was in a similar situation once, luckily I was working in a different state so I wasn't worried about my family. Pretty unnerving.

Proxies are simple. Simply post a request for a proxy in this thread (eg. "Can someone proxy for me for the upcoming sale on XX/XX, for a UF2/Double edged fighter/whatever?").

Lots of helpful CPK'ers in this subforum who will step up to volunteer (they'll post in the sale thread for you, stating that they're proxy'ing for you). If they succeed in claiming a spot/CPK, then you can contact Jo to complete the purchase.

Just keep in mind that you're only supposed to have ONE person make the attempt, whether you choose to post/try yourself, or get ONE person to proxy for you (i.e. you're not supposed to attempt the 'shotgun' approach with multiple people all trying to claim a spot for you).
