Sale Proxy Requests

I removed that and all the other rules from the first post at some point because there were too many and it’s all unofficial. Generally it’s one proxy per person, one shot per sale.

That's how it is supposed to be. I think a lot of it is luck. When you refresh the page, and how fast that it refreshes. Also, one time I hit the refresh perfectly and was so thrilled that I fumbled two times and cost myself two seconds. I don't have to tell anyone here that two seconds is an eternity on CPK Friday sales. I think that I need a new computer...
 
This is an "unsanctioned" thread and service. I have stayed out of this up until now but I would like to clarify a few things.

There really is no such thing as a sales proxy. If you come onto a sale and order a knife, you have ordered a knife.

Some people can't make the sales when they open and some of our sales sell out before a fellow can get home and place his order so he might ask a buddy to get a knife for him. And it makes sense for us to take payment from and ship directly to that fellow (reduces risk and waste in shipping). It adds a little bit of additional complexity for Jo but we're happy to accommodate. We love our customers, and we want you to be happy.

So far people have been doing a good job of keeping things reasonably streamlined so I'm not going to discourage this practice, but in an ideal world a person would simply place his own order on a sale thread.

Lets set some ground rules:

1. One person per sale. You, or your one single proxy.
2. No proxy for a pre-order. If a person wants on a pre-order list he needs to get onto it himself.
3. Do not make things complicated for Jo. No one wants that.

Bryan has helped me out a lot in the past and if the two of youse don't work things out because say he should want different scales from the Mothership, I will proxy for him so let me know.

Oh yeah, he is a knight of the old code, we have had a transaction or two in the past, that's why I offered to help. Mighty fine of you to proxy if needed, I'll let you know if that's the case.

TN? I like TN! I like rednecks too, I am one, I bet I am rednecker than you even. That said, that offer was for a fellow CPKer that I have had prior history with. That's not saying you aren't welcome and that I wouldn't sell you a knife at some point, we just aren't there quite yet. We will at least have to swap nudes first, lucky for you, I just shaved, what's your email address? 😜

Guys, I work a midnight shift. I have two options. Go to bed and wake up after a couple hours or ask for a Proxy. I’ll be up for about an hour or so. If you can proxy for me please let me know by then. PM is best. Otherwise I’ll set my alarm.
