Here is a little video I just found some time to do

I am using all new video equipment and I'm rather pleased at how high the quality is

I just received my Sam Lurquin MUSSO Bowie back from my dear friend Paul Long

As usual Paul did not disappoint

He came up with a two tone Shark Skin Sheath that really compliments this knife very nicely

The Frog Stud is a piece of Explosion Damascus from Sam that was turned and machined by another dear friend Lester Knipe

Lester is the finest gunsmith I know and has been doing work for me for 30 years

This package is so very special to me because of the three people involved in it

I love them all and all are dear friends besides being the best there is in their field

This knife need to be seen on video to fully understand the size and power

Truly a blade from Blood Meridian ....... A blade af Terrifying Apocalyptic proportion with an elegance that makes it a thing of timeless beauty

Thank you all my friends

Thanks for looking

In time I am going to try and review select pieces of my collection in this fashion

Nice video.

Maybe to much coffee, but a great look at the Musso none the less :)

On video? That thing needs to be seen in person! It looks INCREDIBLE.

Here's hoping it comes to NYCKS with you!

Heyyyyy Joe: Where you goin' with that knife in your hand? ;)

Man, that was a great vid. Your camera is working sweet. I was full screen at 720 DPI. (What the heck is that wig for on top of the camera?)

So realistic, you started easily swinging that piece and I reflexively backed away from the screen. Accidents happen! LOL!

No one is more passionate. Props to the men involved. Thanks for showing some of my work, too. (I'm anxious for the BB 2015 thread. It's a CONTENDER. :))

Good thread.

Thanks Jim

The camera is very clear and the wig is a mic wind cover for my Rode Mic

The package really seems to shoot very high quality

I'm shooting in 1080 X 60 MP4

The knife wields incredibly quick for its size

Radical distal taper and proper handle ergonomics give it life

It is more of a short sword

Definitely a battle blade

It feels as if you could tear a hole in the sky with it :)

Paul's sheath will last a lifetime of hard use

I do believe it is a contender for the big show

Especially with these pics :)

Very cool Joe I did get to handle this one and it is very nice thanks for showing it with the new suit.

Thanks David

I appreciate the kind words

Knives don't mean that much to me these days but the people that make them sure do :)

A great knife that found a great home. I will be looking for this one come December.

Very nice Bowie and sheath and a great presentation.

Love it.

I have seen more than a few of these over the years. I would vote this as my favorite from an aesthetic stand point.

I have always wondered if the sparring bar limits the cut in a bigger target. I feel like the step/shoulder might cause drag in a target like a mat, or pig (person analogue).

Joe, have you ever cut with one?

I always enjoy your videos, from fishing, to bows, to knives and sheaths.

Thanks for sharing.

(I keep hoping to hear that Sam's missing dagger pops up!)
