Ray, very attractive knife. is there a reason for the closeness of the choil to the guard ? "usually" there is space for a finger to 'choke' the blade for better tip control, however i'm sure there is purpose in your design which i am not getting.
thanks, roland

Man,this is a looker,i really like your file work to,can you please post a picture showing
the pommel,thanks
Marc

Roland,
This blade design is similar to The Scagle knives, not made to choke up on.
Having a high tang like this brings the cutting edge down to give you more leaverage.

Thanks for Asking
Ray

Ray, thank you for explanation of choil placement. it is a fine looking knife but at present i do not have funds to purchase. i do however much appreciate viewing this knife and the learning imparted.

Ray,
Could you please post a pic of the full handle on the opposite side of your maker's mark?

Thanks. :)

That's a great looking knife! Coming from a MS, it's a great buy.:thumbup: Very tempting.....

Ray does a Great job on folders and fixed blades.
I have a couple of fixed baldes and four of his retro folders.
The spear point fixed blade gets a lot of use whe dressing hogs.
I keep looking at this knowing I do not need another knife!
