I recommend that you find an experienced smith to mentor you and bounce these types of ideas off of.

This is a good group but sometimes there are too many opinions on things. I see you trying lots of weird stuff, a good mentor can save you years of frustration.

This is just a hobby for me. I do it for fun, and try weird things, and try normal things. I learn better from my own personal failures then others advice.

No worries, i am over it. I already just put the 4140 back in the pile.

And yea.. 65,000 lbs is crazy. That is roughly the weight of a sherman tank. Imagine making a Sherman TANK out of AEB-L.
