This is some of my san mai. It consists of high nickel outer layers and a 1095 core. It is etched for contrast. The forge scale is left on the flats. The spine is fully fileworked.

The handle is black canvas micarta. It is held in place with normal pins and one mosaic, along with acraglas.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand stitched and tooled leather. It holds the knife securely and allows it to draw easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 4 3/4" tip to handle
OAL - 9 1/2"

Matt, your knives and your leather are getting better all the time. Not that you were bad at all when I first started seeing them. :)
