Even though the honest knife collectors are affected by this slow economy, please don't lose precious money by shipping overseas to new customers, depsite being given names of people who will vouch for them. I call them highline name droppers. Especially this guy:
Sangjun Kim
1001-ho 103-dong Lottecastle-APT Dowon-dong Dalseo
Daegu, South Korea, 704-720

Huh? What happened?

Just the facts, please.

No AJ, this is the South Korean guy who orders items, refuses to pay for insurance, states he is responsible for any customs confrontations on automatic knives, orders highly collectible older pieces, pays for them with a Visa, waits a few weeks and then starts to hint that he did not receive the package. That progresses to a deadline claiming withdrawl of payment on his Visa. He first demands USPS tracking which on foreign orders is well known to be the Customs form number for tracking. There is no seperate tracking and he knows it. He receives the tracking number and information, at which point the sellers responsibility ends due to no insurance being taken. Visa has sxeen this pattern and reinstated payment to me for a legal Mini Socom from 1999 in NIB condition. Beware of any Asian shipments, because as AJ pointed out there will be orders for duplication of the item as a conterfeit, but these guys usually pay for fear of exposing themselves and they have the money to manufacture the knives in their facilities, that's why customs in Asia allows the auto in, knowing they will be copied.
