To be honest hope ya did score green linen ,,, lil Foo . But personally ,(Yes I'm repeating myself) I'd never ever buy anything sight unseen. Like sale threads in the exchange with no pics,,,,,,, USELESS,,,,I ain't buying text .
 
Skunk just sent me a picture of an SAR4 in green linen. I could only see the handles, but it has to be an SAR4. Sad thing is, I have it on good authority there were only two made, and Skunk has one of them in his drawers, never to be seen again. :eek:
 
So, you want to tell me that they were all sold out? :(

I was at the shop once maintenance was over and there were no goodies.
Also I have seen all those funny messages from Skunk instead of a standard "under maintenance" thingy. :D That was really funny. :thumbup:

A few years ago we wondered the same thing about the massive amounts of AKs and HRs they used to have in stock. It's insane how long they sat there... There was also that dry spell when they didn't have anything in stock except the War Boar, but even it eventually went away. Then came the days where the GWs would show up once a week for about 10 seconds...
 
How long did the HR's hang around. I found the company store right around the time they drifted in and out on their last dregs. AK's did last a long time, tho. Ditto for the Woah Boah.

But there seems to be a LOT of SS's out there.

Maybe six to eight months. Could be longer. I'm not entirely sure when they first showed up, but they left Spring - early summer 06. Right after them was a small batch of Skeleton Keys, Paul's Hatchets (cord wrapped), and Mole Jacks that lasted less than a week. Then came the beautiful S/SS Warden... it's a good thing, for me anyway, that the SS isn't very popular. It's the only Busse that I really regret selling, and plan to get again soon.
