I thought, if you ordered a green linen SAR4, you got a Scrofa for free.

I ordered mine.

I'd get a scrofa if they come down to $79.99 on a deal :p

I just got my SAR4LE #13 and it's a great design ..

I just got my SAR4LE #13 and it's a great design .. the tigerhide almost looks green on mine already  is there some way i can bring out the color more - it's not the nicest I've seen.

Try mineral oil. Should work like a charm. :)

I would definitely buy a heavily discounted scrofa - but I ain't paying tons of money for it. The blade shape is probably pretty functional on a slicer, but damn is it ugly.

Here is my green linen Sus Scrofa!!!

She is a super slicer too!!!

Well, there was enough bourbon at 2:00am one Saturday night for me to order two in blue. :o I vaguely recall thinking it would be like the Game Wardens, and therefore easy to unload later.

HOGS---Tomorrow I ship off the SAR4 pass-around. I don't want to see that INFI go, but... let me say---I'm in for a SAR4 GREEN!!

I think Sus Scrofas are ugly, but they're a very practical working knife; I bought several on of the Exchange, often at a discount, and consider them to be a good investment. Once they're no longer available at retail, I suspect like most Busses that are no longer in production, prices will increase. That's the sad part of continuous availability: Customers say they want it, but my experience is that product tends to linger when people think it'll always be there tomorrow.

I'm not sure if I'll buy a green linen SAR4 -- Dan's about to release the CG S5 in SR101, and in multiple blade/handle colors, so that's where a good sized chunk of my money will be going. However, I would like to see one of those GL SAR4s.
