me, I'm still holding out for a CG at ~$150 less. still don't need one, but I'd be willing to try at that range and maybe gift it if I decided I didn't want to keep it.
 
I just wish I had snagged the ultra cheap one on the exchange today. That was a phenomenal price. A CG around $350 (similar to NMSFNO pricing) would be da bomb though. Simple coating and canvas micarta, oohhhh yeah.

agreed. coated and black (or whatever other) canvas.

and it would have to be less expensive than a BWM for me to consider one.

the size and shape are sweet. the price, yeah, not so much.

I suspect part of the cost in these is the full convex/zero edge treatment. A CG version might not have the same profile.

At least until Horn Dog got done with it. :D:thumbup:
 
Well, hmm, woulda picked this one up instead of the red/black, should have just held out a couple more days. Anyway, awesome knife, no matter which slabs you end up with.
 
I don't need a zero edge - a cg just like the nmsfno or bwbm, with convex primary grind a v edge, works just fine. For a couple hundred bucks, I can convex it myself :D
 
This black paper micarta seems to be blacker than most, pretty coolio :thumbup:

I am still holding my breath that there will be a Lean BOSS Street, and that would make the perfect pair with this one. Until then do the BOSS Street!

Man that black paper is hot ... er ... I mean, I hate it, why would anybody buy it.;)
