I didn't mean to sound like I was being sarcastic. I haven't seen this knife and I did appreciate the picture.

Knife on the right is the Desert Jack, FWIW. Obviously the skeletonized is the Rat Warden or Swamp Warden.

Yep, the Swamp was way ahead of the pack with the SAR 4 concept.

Just a heads up, earlier when I mentioned the Swamp Rat SAR, I did post a link: http://swampshack.com/

That's a online resource dedicated to swamp rat knives. It hasn't been updated in a while, but it does have a picture of the SAR there, including all the spec/info.

Greg, awesome picture! The tan SAR and CT look awesome together.

My decision to buy will be dependent on the price... cuz I'll be doing some mods on this one. First, I'll strip her nekked... then, the thumb ramp will go, and I will grind down that 'hilt'. I've never re-handled a knife, but this one would be a good candidate. I'd move it forward to close the gap between hand and usable edge. Oh... then I'd convex that sucker and beat the crap out of it.

With a lot of grinding, you could reposition the choil using a recurve edge.
