Well thanks, see what you made me do. I bought a SAR 5 to find out for myself and it arrived today. I will post comparison pics of the SAR series tomorrow (SAR 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & SARSquatch).
I don't have big beefy hands but I do have long fingers and without having used the SAR 5 yet, I really like the feel of it. My hands wrap easily all the way around the handle. Mine has Micarta scales which would make it slightly less handle heavy than the G10 version. I think I am going to like this knife, as I do the entire SAR series.
But I know very well that prolonged use of a knife is very different from initial feel. Time will tell.
