Satin Jack & BATAC

Yes, SJ and JH woild be perfect due to their lenght. First Strike is little to long for my taste. Have you handled a Fehrman before? How about Cold Fury for those purposes I've mentioned?

I have the Fehrman First Strike and while it is a big knife it does not feel big in the hand. Take a close look at one before you completely dimiss it.

The cold fury sounds like it might be closer to your original specifications so I guess it comes down to personal preference. I don't own one so I cannot comment.

Right...The word "Fehrman" reminded me of something I asked about Fehrman-knives...
I didn't want to start a new thread and will post here...
INFI is not supposed to be a stainless steel...And as such can begin to rust, right? But, nevertheless, INFI has other advantages.

My question, however, is about oiling a Busse without coating (like Jackhammer or blades from LE-series)...
How do you oil between the tang and the handle on a Busse without coating?
Is there some kind of a rubber liner handles and the tang to keep out water?
I got info that Fehrman knives have it... And it also does wonders at absorbing shock during chopping, as I've been told...
