I have recently become addicted to great stag, seeking only knives that have wonderful stag handles for my collection (or unusual stag).
The one on the top is a 1998 USA Made Winchester that originally had tortoise shell colored celluloid that deteriorated and rusted the knife. Someone rescued it and replaced the handle with stag sheds he found in Georgia. He did a nice job, if you ask me, and I bought it from him on eBay.
The Northfield below it is one I was seeking for what seems like an eternity. It is an Easy Pocket Congress in Burnt Stag (model 620311). I sharpened this one carefully and use it as a whittler.
The gnarly looking one below it is a Craftsman made by Schrade, with the thickest stag handles I have ever owned. Here is another shot from the top:
I, and others, suspect it is a rehandled knife, but certainly extremely well done.
The one below that is a stag handled Northfield full Congress knife. I really wish it did not have the classic redundant blades on it, but it is a nice knife with great stag nonetheless.
The one below that is my EDC, going on nearly 6 months now. It is a Winchester model 3904S from 1991 made by Queen. I am so in love with this knife I firmly believe I need some psychiatric counseling.
The last one is a nice, fat stag Case stockman model 5318. I am not that thrilled about it being stainless, but the stag is sexy.
I have at least this many more, but I actually had these out on my desk.
